The plain version of how our membership works. We wrote it to be read.
FOOM membership is our cashback programme, and it's free. Your phone number is your membership — we track your visits and your balance through our till system. No card, nothing to install. Membership is for guests aged 18 and above.
Every ringgit on your bill counts toward your lifetime spend with us, and every visit earns cashback at your current rate.
Everyone starts at 5% back. Once your lifetime spend with us passes RM5,000, you earn 10%. Past RM10,000, 15%. Your rate follows your lifetime spend as our till records it.
Cashback is spent on a future visit — never the visit where you earned it. It works by request: ask the team when the bill comes and we take it off. It can cover up to 30% of any one bill.
Cashback has no cash value. We can't pay it out, move it to someone else's membership, or apply it to a bill you've already settled.
From time to time we add credit to your membership — welcome credit when you join, birthday credit, that kind of thing. Each comes with its own rules and its own expiry, which we tell you when you get it.
Cashback doesn't currently expire. If we ever introduce an expiry, we'll post it here first and give you notice before anything on your balance is affected.
We adjust it as FOOM grows — rates, spend levels, how earning and spending works, sometimes the whole shape of it. The version posted here is the one that applies. Changes work forward from their posted date, and clause 7 protects what's already on your balance.
If you opted in, we send membership updates on WhatsApp — your balance, your credit, the occasional update. Reply STOP any time and we stop. Reply START to come back. Opting out doesn't touch your membership or your balance.
We use your details only to run this programme, under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. What we hold and your rights over it are in our Privacy Policy.
Our till records are the record. If a balance is wrong — a missed earn, a double credit, a technical slip — we correct it to match them. Misusing the programme can end a membership; we'd rather never have to.
